Minister vows to meet police numbers target

A Cabinet minister has pledged to meet the targets set by the Police Federation under the Government’s Police and Crime Bill.
In a blog post, Stephen Kinnock said his force’s targets would be met and the number of officers on the streets would be cut in real time.
He also said any member of the public concerned about their rights can contact the commissioner, who would contact police directly.
The minister said: “Under the Government’s Police and Crime Bill, the force has now met its target of reducing numbers by 11,600 officers by January 2018.

“In January 2016, when the Chief Constable announced to the public that the number of officers at work on 1,600 more sites had been reduced, I had already informed the Police Federation’s national chair they were taking steps to meet바카라 the commitment.
“But our approach under the Police and Crime Bill is not to simply reach targets for 슈퍼 카지노staff but the police as a whole, not just as individual officers.

Police chief accused of ‘flouting’ contract
But Mr Kinnock said he had received a series o카지노게임f complaints and suggestions regarding police numbers.
He added: “I am taking the time now to speak with police chiefs across the country to listen to their concerns and to seek their views on how we can address the problems they are facing.
“This is my first opportunity to speak with each of them about the plans they are preparing for police numbers in this legislation, and I am sure that there will be many officers from the RMCF who will join me in this effort.”
Mr Kinnock is expected to give an update on the plans to the Commons Police and Crime Committee on Wednesday (January 23).
The police chief said any cuts will follow the national target he set for himself.
“A major target is being set for police numbers in April when I will announce that my force will reduce officers by more than 15,000 – my last target,” he said.
