Red kangaroo numbers plummeting hunter says
The New South Wales Department of Primary Industries’ new hunting plan includes an increase in kangaroo population from 22,000 to 50,000, which could incre전주출장마사지ase meat exports to New South Wales.
The state’s agricultural and fisheries minister, Rod Oakeshott, said the number of kangaroos in the state had “reached record lows” after a decade-long boom.
“The decline in the kangaroo population in Queensland has led to meat imports from overseas, particularly in China,” he said.
“The Chinese people’s appetite for kangaroos is growing, with growing demand and growing demand from farmers and other businesses.”
The government has identified a number of issues for beef, poultry and chicken that need to be worked out in light of rising demand, the ABC reported.
The minister’s comments, while consistent with some recent government pronouncements, also echo criticism from environmental groups블랙 잭, who have accused the government of encouraging meat exports by restricting the size of kangaroos.

China’s demand for beef in New South Wales comes at a sensitive time, since beef is a major export source for the state’s exports, according to the ABC.
However, the report notes that kangaroos in Queensland have been seen around the country by farmers and others as a natural resource that could be used for agriculture.
The number of kangaroos in the state has declined from 2,500 to less than 100, and about half of those are currently seen by industry as being too small to be commercialised, the ABC said.
“The main problem is not kangaroos. The main problem is the kangaroos,” Dr. Scott said.
“We’re talking about species that have probably never been available because they were destroyed or they were lost.
“These animals are in huge demand because they have value as a meat substitute, and they have value as a component of livestock.”
