The Sydney Morning Herald reported on Saturday that a 27-year-old woman who was injured in a boat accident in the Vietnam War has died.

Keri A. Van Hoekman was with her husband in a boat on Oct. 13, 1980, when the boat sank and the couple were thrown about 100 metres to the sea floor.

Her husband’s leg and arm were amputated.

On Sunday afternoon, ABC reported that Van Hoekman had undergone treatment at the hospital after being discharged from hospital early Sunday afternoon.

A number of Vietnamese military officials have expressed their condolences in a Facebook post about what happened in her death and expressed hope that Van Hoekman’s family will receiv더킹카지노e a medal with their mother’s name on it.

She was identified in a memorial message posted in Vietnamese at the U.S. Embassy, the Australian Consulate and the Vietnamese Embassy in Manila on Sunday.

In a statement posted on her Facebook page, Van Hoekman wrote:

“My family and I, friends, supporters and my Australian and U.S. families, are very grateful for your messages and wishes. We thank you for taking the time to read this message and to let us know that you are concerned for us.”

Her family has released a statement saying:

“Her death was an important loss for all of us. Her loving husband and baby brother also died in vain and we will be waiting until the end to bury them.

“Our family would like to express our condolences to the family and friends of her. We know that her parents and siblings will wish her eternal happiness. Her loved ones are with her every day.

“We ask that you please consider the wishes of her family.”

The U.S. State Department tweeted it’s “deeply saddened and heartbroken” by Van Hoekman’s death and called on the Vietnamese people to honor her wish for a Vietnamese-American to receive the Gold Star Hero Award, a Vietnam War medal.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time and we are grateful to the brave Vietnamese soldiers on the boats for rescuing her so quickly,” State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert tweeted.
